Disney planning is moving along and as I am writing this, my countdown shows that we have 100 days to go! Woo hoo! With that said, we have been planning out our days according to the crowd calendar, and the first park we will visit is the Animal Kingdom! With our days mapped out, I also started making our dining reservations. Since it’s hard for me determine how Michael will be, I only made a few reservations for now. I want to see how long he can last before making dinner or dessert party reservations. Lately, Michael has been managing to stay up longer, so who knows, maybe by the time we get there, his schedule will have changed.
At Animal Kingdom, the only dining reservation we have is for the Rainforest Café for a late lunch. After looking at menu options, this is the one restaurant I think everyone will enjoy.
The next day we will be visiting Epcot. I have no reservations made currently. Again, we will have to play it by ear.
We are celebrating my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday on this trip so we are taking one day in between parks to have a little party. We will be having breakfast at the Animal Kingdom’s Boma Restaurant. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to not only see the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the first time but to try Boma’s as well. I’ve heard so many great reviews! I hope this is a great day for my mother-in-law, filled with love, family and a good breakfast to boot!
Hollywood Studios is the next park on our itinerary and I have absolutely nothing reserved for that day…yet. It’s a work in progress and I honestly haven’t really had the time.
Last, certainly not least, is the Magic Kingdom. I am so happy I was able to get a Breakfast Character reservation!! If we do not get to any of the other ones, I’m find with that, I want my boys to be able to go to at least one. We have reservations at The Crystal Palace! I’m really looking forward to it and I think the boys will really enjoy it.
On our last full day, all the ladies in my party will be heading over to The Grand Floridian for Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room. One of my most favorite things to do (even though I prefer coffee to tea) is going to tea. I love the finger sandwiches, the scones, and of course the different types of tea to try. I am once again, super excited and really looking forward to it. We will leave in plenty of time to explore the hotel as well. My sister and I, on our last trip in 2000, had breakfast over at The Grand Floridian and we really enjoyed it.
These are the plans so far and I am waiting for our window of 30 days before planning our Fast passes (if we get any at all LOL). I’ll do another update at that time and I have a feeling I may add a few more reservations or even more pre-trip hauls as well. Speaking of pre-trips hauls, let me share some of the items I recently added to my Disney Goodie Bag!
Mini Pre-trip Haul Update
My bag of Disney goodies is filling up and I thought it would be a great time to share some of my new items. Many, if not most of the items I’m sharing were birthday gifts and Disney gifts are my favorite!
My sister and brother-in-law bought me two Disney t-shirts. The first one is to wear at Epcot and I absolutely love it. I love the colors and the details as you can see below. My T-shirt has gold lettering which really makes the berry color pop.
The second t-shirt is for the Animal Kingdom. Again, I love the Army color green and the gold speckled across the Tree of Life. I’m really looking forward to wearing these t-shirts. You can purchase both T-shirts on Etsy at the AlibellBoutique.

The next item was also a birthday gift from my dad’s girlfriend, Cheryl, and I love them. She got me the Mickey Mouse stud earrings. I will be wearing these the entire week! These are adorable, and I love it also has my pearl birthstone.
Of course, I had to get a birthday present for myself, so I picked up a magic band. It took me forever and a day to pick out which color I wanted but I ultimately went with Imagination Pink. At first, I was thinking of going more neutral and purchasing the gray or black, but I changed my mind in the end. I do plan on purchasing decals to make it a little more personalized. I will also pick up magic bands for the boys and my husband as well.
This is everything for now and I’m sure I will be adding more as we go along. I hope you’ve enjoyed our Disney trip update and mini haul. I’ve enjoyed sharing it with you today. Do you have any recommendations for our trip planning or anything you would add to my pre-trip haul? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.
