It’s been 19 years since I last visited Walt Disney World and there are so many things I want to do and see. I realize it will not be possible to do everything, but I thought I would share my list of Disney goals that I would love to accomplish on our trip in November. I’m going to break them down by Park, attractions/rides, and food/snacks. This list could go on for days, so for this post I’m going to feature my Magic Kingdom Goals.
Between watching Disney vloggers and looking at the Park maps, the Magic Kingdom has grown quite a bit since the last time I was there. I have a lot to cover in a short amount of time, so here it goes.
Attractions/Rides
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – This is going to be one of the hardest ones for me to get on. I do not do roller coasters of any kind. My understanding is this one is more like a kid’s roller coaster, so I’m determined to get myself on it. I figure if my kids are tall enough to get on by the time we get there, I have no excuse but to join them.
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh – I’m so excited to get on this ride! I’ve always enjoyed Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the characters, so I want to make time for this ride.
Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid – Confession time. I hate the ocean. I’m scared to death of it, but that has never stopped me from dreaming of becoming a mermaid; specifically Ariel. One of my all-time favorite Disney movies, and princesses, this is an absolute must do on my list.
Enchanted Tales with Belle – Another favorite princess, I couldn’t pass on this one either. I love that its interactive and the audience can be a part of the fairytale as well. I’m really looking forward to seeing this.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – I know my boys are going to love this ride. I also know that I will probably not be any good at hitting any of the targets. That’s okay, this ride is all about fun and I’m really looking forward to it.
Food / Snacks
Gaston’s Tavern – I need to try the warm cinnamon rolls with extra icing please!! Enough said.
Casey’s Corner – The bacon, mac and cheese French fries or the Creamy Mac and Cheese Tots. These look so good and I’ve watched others enjoy them, so I’d like to give them a try too.
Be Our Guest – The Grey Stuff – Everyone that I have talked to about The Grey Stuff has told me they love it. It looks interesting and if I get a chance to dine at Be Our Guest, I will order it.
Tinker Bell Cone – I would love to try the Lime Dole Whip! Many of my friends tell me this is better than the regular Dole Whip, so I’m going to test that out for myself.
Happily Ever After Dessert Party – This is probably the one event I want to attend the most. First, it’s dessert! As I’ve told you before, I love my desserts! Second, I think it’s going to be a perfect way to end our day at the Magic Kingdom. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it will happen.
I can’t wait to get there and experience all the new attractions, rides, food and snacks! I know there are more I would like to try, and I’ll be sure to share what I loved and didn’t care for when I return. Until then, what are your favorite attractions, rides, food and snacks at the Magic Kingdom? I would love to hear!
