Do you remember what your first Disney souvenir or collectible was? On my first trip to Walt Disney World, my parents told me and my sister to pick out something that we would want to take home as a souvenir. I must have searched every store on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom until I found the perfect thing. I noticed this beautiful ceramic figurine of Mary Poppins, complete with her umbrella! I knew I had to have it! Although, I haven’t had it out it since I left my parents’ house, it’s wrapped up nicely until the boys are older to display it without fear of it getting broken.
For many Disney fans, we love to collect Disney collectibles, souvenirs and merchandise. Sometimes, trying to find a gift for a Disney fan can be tricky if you know they have been collecting for years. Today I wanted to share some gift ideas that perhaps the Disney fan in your life never considered collecting.

You may have heard of the artist Jim Shore before, but have you seen his beautiful Disney figurine collection? He has several pieces that are just exquisite and would make a perfect holiday gift!
Aladdin “Group Hug” figurine by Jim Shore – One of my favorite movies is Aladdin! I loved the original cartoon version and the live action release as well. The music, the characters and story are all so enjoyable! I love this figurine because I think we could all use a group hug right about now! Again, all the detail in the characters, down to the magic carpet, are precious.
Lilo & Stitch “Ohana Means Family” figurine by Jim Shore – I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Lilo & Stitch or the meaning of Ohana. To me, it’s the perfect gift to give to a family member who loves Disney as well. With everything that has happened this past year, family is so important to us. What a great way to say I love and appreciate you with this figurine! The sentiment is so appropriate for these crazy, uncertain times.
Tinker Bell “Love Seat” by Jim Shore – Probably one of the most iconic figures (besides the Mouse himself), Tinker Bell, is loved by all! One my favorite memories from being a Disney kid is watching Tinker Bell fly around the castle at the beginning of The Wonderful World of Disney. I remember asking my mom, can she really fly? My mom always replied, “Of course she can!” If you’re unsure of what character would be a favorite for your gift recipient, I’d say go with Tinker Bell. After all, she can really fly!
Mickey & Minnie Mouse “Happily Ever After” Snow Globe by Jim Shore – I’ve always had a thing for snow globes and I may have to purchase this is one for myself! I also think this would make a lovely 1st Christmas gift for couples who were married in 2020. Many of them had to adjust their wedding plans and this would be a great way to honor how special their day really was. Lastly, who doesn’t love shimmering confetti!?!
I really don’t think you could go wrong with any of these Jim Shore Disney figurines. There are so many more to choose from on ShopDisney as well. Which one do you think you’ll give as a gift or keep for yourself? I’d love to hear in the comments below!

Dear Joann,
It’s funny but my first trip to Disney I too bought Mary Poppins figurine. My best friend just gave birth to a baby girl And that was a gift I gave to her.
The reason I picked Mary Poppins is because my friend growing up together always loved Mary Poppins too.
