Friends, we are getting closer now and the excitement is too! The last park left to talk about Disney goals is Hollywood Studios. The last time I was there, it was called MGM Studios and I really loved it. My memories at the park are of things that no longer exist. The back-lot studio tour is gone and I’m sad about that, but I’m super excited about visiting Toy Story Land. I’m looking forward to making new memories with my family, so let’s go.
Attractions / Rides
Alien Swirling Saucers – I’ve watched hundreds of videos of my Disney Youtuber friends swirling around, laughing and thoroughly having a good time on this ride. I think my boys are going to love this. I’m looking forward to listening to their giggles and watching their reactions.
Toy Story Mania – I have a feeling that if we can, this will be one ride my son Alex will want to go back on again and again. We may have trouble getting the 4d glasses on Michael but will certainly attempt it. He seems to like the characters from the Toy Story movies, so who knows he may surprise us all.
Slinky Dog Dash – Not for me, but if anyone in my family would like to take my boys (at least Alex), they are more than welcome to. I’ll be sitting on the sidelines, biting my nails.
Disney Junior Dance Party – I’m not sure who will be excited more, me or my kids. All I know is I can’t wait to meet Vampirina and dance along with the rest of the characters. And yes, I will be the one boogieing down in the middle of them all.
A Frozen Sing A-long – No, I still haven’t seen the movie, but I promise, I will before we leave! Not sure if I’ll get Michael to sit long enough to watch, but we will give it our best shot!
Star War’s Galaxy Edge – I just finished watching a live stream of the Galaxy’s Edge, it looks amazing. I don’t have any real goals other than walking through it. I am sure it will be difficult to get any dining or fast passes for anything while we are there. It’s okay, there is always next time.
Food / Snack
50’s Prime Time Café – I remember my parents eating there and telling me how much they enjoyed it. It was fun and a great experience. I thought if we have a chance, this would be a lot of fun to do. While I’m there, I’d like to try the Fried Herb and Garlic Cheese. That looks delicious!
Sci-Fi Dine in Theater Restaurant – I’ve been wanting to do this since my last trip. I’m not sure we will get reservations for it, but I certainly would love to give it a try if we do. I love the idea of sitting in an automo-booth or table while enjoying the food. I think the boys will get a kick out of it too!
As with all my previous goals for the Disney Parks, I know we may not get to everything. My goal is to finally get there and experience as much as we can as a family. Do you have any favorite things to do or see at Hollywood Studios? I’d love to hear in the comments below.
