Day 4 – Top Non-Book Gifts for Book Lovers
As a book lover, one of my favorite things to do is walk through a book store. Literally, I can spend hours there if I had the time. I usually find something I want in every aisle but I then I realize how little time I have these days to really do that. I have a new goal for 2019 and that is to find more time to read. I do have a Kindle and as much as I enjoy it, sitting down with a physical book in my hand is so much more satisfying to me. I like the idea of audio books for when you are cleaning, long drives, or flights that require me to pay attention as the book is playing. For me, buying a book for someone can be tricky. I remember receiving a whole trilogy of books one year and to be honest, I didn’t like one of them. I felt bad because I know it was given with great intention, but sometimes as a book lover, I’d rather receive something other than an actual book. So today, I put together a list of my top gifts for book lovers that are not actual books.

Novel Teas contains 25 tea bags individually tagged with literary quotes from the world over, made with the finest English Breakfast tea: When I came across these, I fell in love. Tea and literature, what is better than that? I love to be able to have a nice cup of tea while I am reading a book, just goes hand in hand to me. This adorable set includes individually wrapped tea bags tagged with literary quotes from all over.
Cypress Home Turquoise Dahlia Ceramic Travel Coffee Mug, 17 ounces: As a great companion gift for the tea bags, I love these travel mugs. You can use them for tea or coffee, and they come in a variety of patterns. It also comes with the coordinating gift box for easy gift giving.
Midwest-CBK S’Mores Book Lovers Book Nerd Christmas/Everyday Ornament Decoration: This ornament is so cute and would make a nice gift topper to add a special and unique way to showcase a gift for book lovers.
Unframed Typography Book Page Print: I love these! They offer a variety of book prints, and you can have them framed to give as a gift. Some of the book page prints offered are “The Velveteen Rabbit” and Charles William Eliot – “Books Are.” I think it’s a unique gift for book lovers.
Ernest Hemingway,”We are all broken. That’s how the light gets in.” Bookmark: I have a special place in my heart for anything Hemingway. My very last paper in college was on the life of Ernest Hemmingway, so I feel like I know him personally. These are beautiful bookmarks and again, they also come with a variety of different books/sayings.
CafePress – I Like Big Books – Natural Canvas Tote Bag – What I love about CafePress tote bags is they have so many different image options. This is a great way to carry around your books or anything else you want to take with you.
I am hoping this list gives you some ideas or gift suggestions for the book lover in your life. Do you love books? Please let me know if there is anything you would add to the list, I’d love to hear about it.
